For 51 years, Spectrum Health Systems has worked tirelessly to provide state-of-the-art, modern, and effective treatment for drug and alcohol addiction. Today, we are excited to announce that Spectrum’s opiate treatment programs (OTPs) now accept Medicare Part B insurance.

“Opioid addiction has impacted every community, which is why it’s so important to us that we can accept all major insurance providers in order to increase treatment access for all,” said David Nefussy, vice president of business development.

In addition to Medicare Part B, Spectrum and its subsidiary, The New England Recovery Center, also accept a wide variety of health insurance options, including: Vermont Medicaid, New Hampshire Medicaid, BCBS, Beacon Health Solutions, BMC, Anthem, CIGNA, Commonwealth Care All, Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Fallon, Health New England, Health Plans Inc., Harvard Pilgrim, Mass Laborers, Massachusetts Behavioral Health Partnership, Neighborhood Health Plan, TriCare, Tufts, UniCare, United Behavioral Health, United Health Care and more. Insurance plan coverage varies by program so prospective clients are encouraged to call 1-877-My Rehab to discuss their individual insurance benefits. Regardless of insurance, we will always ensure that treatment is found for anybody struggling with addiction.

Outpatient services have become an increasingly popular form of addiction treatment. Whether clients are stepping down from inpatient care or seeking help for the first time, we’re able to provide a range of outpatient services throughout the Commonwealth. With a network of fourteen OTPs, our clients have local access to education, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and individual and group counseling – both in person and utilizing telehealth. With an increased focus on expanding insurance acceptance, our aim is to provide critical services to as many people as possible. In fact, Kurt Isaacson, CEO and president of Spectrum Health Systems noted our goal is to treat an additional 500,000 clients by 2025!

If you or a loved one is interested in learning more about addiction treatment, our treatment centers span from Western Massachusetts to the North Shore. See our full list of locations, here.

During COVID-19, we’re asking all clients to call us at 1-877-MyRehab to coordinate an appointment and seek instructions from our staff before arrival. Start your recovery today with Spectrum Health Systems and the New England Recovery Center.
