All of Spectrum’s outpatient treatment centers offer medication for substance use disorders, including methadone and naltrexone (Vivitrol) to reduce relapse, lessen withdrawal and prevent overdose. Buprenorphine (Suboxone) induction is available in our Milford, Weymouth, and Main Street, Worcester locations. All clients will receive a comprehensive clinical assessment and complete medical evaluation, medical monitoring, medication dispensing, individualized treatment planning, educational services, and individual, group and/or family counseling.
Same-day admission for medication for substance use disorders is available at all of our outpatient treatment centers according to a set schedule which allows clients to complete the intake, physical exam, and toxicology requirement on the same day. If appropriate, clients may also receive their first dose of medication at that time. The entire admission process takes approximately 3 to 4 hours to complete.
