VIRTUAL TRAININGS: From Gender Responsive Treatment to Correctional Opioid Treatment

Published On: May 7th, 2021Categories: News, Spectrum Corrections

Addiction doesn’t discriminate. It affects every community imaginable. More than 23 million US adults struggle with substance use disorders (SUDs) and in Massachusetts, over half of adults continue to battle this disease — which is why we established Spectrum’s training, technical assistance and consulting group several years ago to help raise public awareness and enhance professional training for behavioral health providers across the Commonwealth.

This Spring, in partnership with Boston Medical Center’s Office Based Addiction Treatment (OBAT) Training and Technical Assistance (TTA), we are offering free, virtual courses covering a variety of topics, from gender responsive training to trauma informed care. Continuing education credits are available to medical and clinical professionals working in the field.
