Spectrum Health Systems Announces Two Leadership Advancements for Continued Growth

Published On: September 29th, 2025

Spectrum Health Systems, Inc., an innovative non-profit provider of evidence-based treatment for substance use and mental health disorders throughout Massachusetts, announced two key leadership updates today: the promotion of Sandra Beatty to Regional Executive Director for Spectrum’s Central Massachusetts region, overseeing Worcester, Millbury, Milford and Westborough, and the appointment of Corinne Wigington as Executive Director of Quality Improvement.

“Sandra and Corinne bring complementary strengths to the organization at a pivotal moment in our growth,” said Kurt Isaacson, President and CEO of Spectrum Health Systems. “Sandra’s proven leadership and strong community ties, combined with Corinne’s expertise in quality improvement and systems innovation, will strengthen our ability to elevate care across the state and beyond.”

Beatty began her career at Spectrum in 2005 as a clinician and has advanced through several leadership roles over the last 20 years. As Program Director, she led the opening of Spectrum’s second Hub and Spoke program in Framingham, which works to expand access to medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD). In her new role as Regional Executive Director for Central Massachusetts, Beatty will oversee operations and strategy for all outpatient programs in this region.

Wigington brings over 20 years of experience in quality improvement and program evaluation, most recently serving as Associate Director for Evaluation at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. As Spectrum’s Executive Director of Quality Improvement, she will lead the development and implementation of its quality improvement plan, which helps advance performance metrics and systemwide initiatives to improve outcomes and engagement.

“Both Sandra and Corinne embody the dedication, expertise and forward-thinking leadership that define our organization,” said Lisa Blanchard, Chief Clinical Officer. “Sandra’s patient-centered approach and Corinne’s data-driven perspective will help us continue to strengthen our services and ensure the highest standards of care for the individuals and families we serve.”
