Spectrum Health Systems is pleased to announce the opening of a new outpatient treatment center in Leominster, Massachusetts which offers medication-assisted treatment and counseling services to individuals seeking treatment for drug addiction. Located at 40 Spruce Street, the Leominster center is Spectrum's twelfth in Massachusetts and its first in North Worcester County.

“In 2012, Spectrum committed to opening at least three new outpatient treatment centers per year in an effort to combat the opioid epidemic in the Commonwealth,” said Spectrum CEO Chuck Faris, himself a Leominster resident. “Spectrum strives to offer services where they’re needed and not just where they’re convenient,” he continued. “We saw Northern Worcester County was lacking access to treatment and Spectrum is prepared to fill that need.”

All clients will receive a complete medical evaluation, monitoring, onsite medication dispensing and counseling sessions.  The core of Spectrum's approach is client education and a cognitive-behavioral group therapy curriculum that fully supports client involvement in community self-help recovery groups.  Spectrum offers same-day admissions which allow clients to complete all requirements and, if appropriate, receive their first dosage of medication.  For admissions information, please call (800) 464-9555 ext 1161.

Based in Worcester, Massachusetts, Spectrum Health Systems, Inc. is a private, non-profit substance abuse and mental health treatment provider.  Spectrum offers the largest and most complete continuum of addiction treatment in New England – including inpatient detoxification, residential rehabilitation, outpatient services, medication-assisted treatment and peer recovery support.
