Spectrum Health Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Kristin Nolan to the position of Executive Director of Outpatient Services.

kristin-nolan3"As the need for outpatient treatment services has dramatically increased, particularly in the wake of the prescription painkiller abuse epidemic, Ms. Nolan has been an essential part of Spectrum's ability to meet unmet demand, expand services and continue to provide the highest quality treatment to the clients we serve," said Charles Faris, Spectrum president and CEO.

Ms. Nolan began her career with Spectrum in 2000 as a substance abuse counselor. In 2005, she was promoted to program director of Spectrum's largest outpatient clinic in Worcester. In 2007, Ms. Nolan became the director of outpatient services, a position in which she is responsible for the operation of six outpatient clinics in Massachusetts. Since that time, Ms. Nolan has overseen Spectrum's out-of-state expansion into Sanford, Maine, and continued expansion in Massachusetts, including an outpatient clinic under development in Waltham.

"I consider myself very fortunate to have had the opportunities for professional growth and development that Spectrum has afforded me over the past thirteen years," said Ms. Nolan.

Named one of the Worcester Business Journal's "40 under Forty" honorees in 2010, Ms. Nolan has a Master’s degree  in Counseling Psychology from Anna Maria College and Bachelor of Science degree in Social Sciences from Southern New Hampshire University.
