CORRECTIONS TREATMENT
Since 1993, Spectrum has provided specialized treatment for substance
abusing criminal offenders. Based on a cognitive-behavioral skill
building approach, Spectrum's programs teach incarcerated and court-involved
substance abusers practical ways to achieve a law abiding life,
free from drugs and crime.
Our programs operate in both prison and community-based settings,
serving nearly 4,000 individuals each day.
In Massachusetts, Spectrum provides a full continuum
of residential, non-residential and aftercare treatment services
throughout the state. Spectrum also provides ambulatory substance
abuse services to ex-offenders at the Worcester Regional Re-Entry
Center.
In Georgia, Spectrum operates residential substance
abuse treatment programs at six state facilities, and provides community-based
substance abuse assessment and counseling services to parolees on
a statewide basis.
In Rhode Island, Spectrum provides a range of in-prison
treatment programs at all levels of security, including residential
treatment, day treatment and reintegration programming.
In Maine, Spectrum operates a substance abuse therapeutic
community at the Maine Correctional Center and provides transitional
treatment at the Central Maine Pre-Release Center. Spectrum also
provides case management services to inmates nearing release.
In Tennessee, Spectrum operates substance abuse therapeutic
community programs at six state facilities.
