Corrections
Built upon principles of best practice and evidence-based approaches to treatment, Spectrum's correctional treatment programs incorporate cognitive theory and motivational therapy to assist offenders with a history of chronic substance abuse to assess their treatment readiness, learn pro-social skills, address individual risks of relapse and recidivism, and prepare for successful community reintegration.
Spectrum is experienced in adapting its programming to address the needs of special populations and the requirements of the host correctional institution. In addition, Spectrum has years of experience serving women offenders at all levels of security. Informed by leading criminal justice research, Spectrum's gender-responsive programming is designed to address the unique characteristics and treatment needs of women in conflict with the law.
