Eighty people gathered on May 30, 2007 to commemorate the relocation of Spectrum’s Project Turnabout to a newly refurbished facility in Weymouth, Massachusetts. Speakers at the event included Charles Faris, President and CEO of Spectrum, Senator Steven Tolman, Chairman of the Joint Committee on Mental Health and Substance Abuse, and Senator Bob Hedlund. Representatives from local courts, other community providers, state officials and members of the press toured the building. The new setting offers modern kitchen and dining facilities, semi-private bedrooms, and easy access to medical care and public transportation. Project Turnabout is a thirty-bed residential substance abuse treatment program serving adult men.
