As Oliver Wendell Holmes once said, "The great thing in this
world is not so much where we stand, as in what direction we are
moving."

Throughout Spectrums thirty-eight year history, our mission,
vision and values have guided our work and shaped our direction.
Spectrums continued growth allows us the opportunity to reach
more people suffering from addiction to drugs and alcohol. Our success
is a credit to the inspiring commitment of the individuals we serve,
the unwavering dedication of our staff and the humbling generosity
of our donors.

Working in the field of substance abuse treatment is challenging
and requires resiliency and resourcefulness. The staff at Spectrum
routinely rise above to meet and exceed the expectations of the
people we serve. Whether in a community-based residential setting
in the suburbs, an ambulatory service in a city or a correctional
facility in a remote location, our staff perform with the utmost
professionalism while keeping each clients best interest at
heart. Our program staff are backed by an efficient administrative
team that provides the infrastructure necessary to ensure service
excellence.

We also wish to express our appreciation to the members of our Board
of Trustees for the valuable oversight, guidance and encouragement
they provide. Their efforts helped create a solid foundation rooted
in sound business practices, designed to protect our integrity and
resources as a charitable operation, while ensuring that Spectrums
services meet industry standards for exceptional care.

As always, we thank our donors for their generous contributions
over the years. We rely on these donations and the funds raised
by the Spectrum Charitable Foundation to serve nearly 18,000 men,
women and at-risk youth each year. In the years ahead, Spectrum
will continue to develop new programs while enhancing the services
we provide to ensure the highest quality of treatment for our clients.
