Daniel J. Quinn
Chief Operating Officer



Daniel J. Quinn is Spectrum’s Chief Operating Officer, having previously held senior positions with Tufts Health Plan, Beacon Health Strategies and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Massachusetts. While at Beacon, he developed and contracted with a provider network of behavioral health care professionals as part of the Fallon Community Health Plan. His five years at Tufts were spent managing their Mental Health Program Development Office, developing strategic service plans, full capitation budget structures, overseeing program compliance with NCQA, HCFA and state mandates, and exercising a leadership role in Quality Improvement Projects and Disease Management Programs. Mr. Quinn is a Licensed Independent Social Worker. He had a private practice Melrose Massachusetts. He also provided clinical consultations for the Boston Alcohol and Substance Abuse Program; High Point Treatment Center in Quincy, Massachusetts, and The Center for Addictive Behaviors in Salem. Other clinical appointments have been with Atlanticare Medical Center, Lynn; The Carney Hospital, Dorchester; and Bay Cove Mental Health Center and the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, both in Jamaica Plain. He was Clinical Associate at Simmons College School of Social Work in Boston, Massachusetts (M.S.W. 1987) and holds an M.B.A. from Western New England College, Bedford, Massachusetts.
