Spectrum Health Systems, Inc. is accepting nominations for the 2015 Women’s Leadership Award to honor individuals who have made significant contributions to behavioral health services for women in recovery.  Awardees are invited from all aspects of behavioral health and may provide direct service, supervision or management, legislative or policy leadership, advocacy and/or volunteer services.

“The Women’s Leadership Award recognizes a myriad of challenges to improving behavioral health services specific to women,” stated Susan Moitozo, Spectrum’s vice president for clinical operations. “There are so many unsung heroes who have made significant and, in many cases, life-changing contributions to the advancement of women’s behavioral health services. I look forward to reading about their accomplishments and celebrating their successes.”

The award recipient will be honored at the 2015 Spectrum Women’s Conference on Friday, April 10, 2015 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Westborough, Massachusetts. Celebrating Women in Recovery: A Vision for Success is a full-day conference packed with informative sessions and dynamic speakers.  Speakers, including broadcaster, media strategist and consumer Laurie Dhue and renowned family psychiatrist Judith Landau, will focus on a wide variety of topics that are relevant to women’s behavioral health and are educational, engaging and inspiring.
