Spectrum's third Women’s Treatment Conference will be held May 5-6, 2011 at the Double Tree Hotel in Westborough, Massachusetts. Presentation proposals are now being accepted on “Breaking the Cycle of Co-occurring Disorders in Women.” Presentations exploring lessons learned and new innovative partnerships that improve access to needed services locally, regionally and nationally for women with co-occurring disorders are invited.
Topic areas include:
- Innovative approaches that foster cooperative efforts in the provision of mental health, substance abuse, family, child, housing, and continuing care services to women with co-occurring disorders.
- Methods for improved intra-agency collaboration and reduced fractured service delivery.
- Models that demonstrate evidence-based practices, improved treatment access and improved treatment retention.
- Strategies and practices that reduce stigma and empower consumers.
To submit a workshop proposal, just fill-out the Response Form and submit it to susan.moitozo@spectrumsys.org by November 1, 2010. Please also specify any specific audio visual needs. Workshop sessions are 75 minutes each.
