Spectrum Health Systems, Inc. announces the election of six new board members.

Mark P. Bilotta 
Mr. Bilotta has more than twenty years of experience in higher education administration, including community partnership-building, strategic planning, government relations, board relations and budget planning. As Chief Executive Officer of the Colleges of Worcester Consortium, Inc., Mr. Bilotta oversees an alliance of thirteen local colleges that work collaboratively to further the missions of individual member institutions and advance higher education in the region. Mr. Bilotta has served on numerous boards and committees throughout the area and is presently the Chair-Elect of the United Way of Central Massachusetts Board of Directors. Mr. Bilotta has an MBA from Clark University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Holy Cross.

Bruce D. Lawrence 
Mr. Lawrence has served as Executive Personal Assistant at the Office of Ronald M. Ansin in Leominster, Massachusetts since 1988. In this role, he is responsible for representing and assisting well known philanthropist and businessman, Ron Ansin, in business, non-profit, political and charitable endeavors. Mr. Lawrence is actively involved in numerous civic organizations throughout Central Massachusetts, including ARC Community Services, Boys and Girls Clubs of North Central Massachusetts and the United Way of North Central Massachusetts.

Reverend Richard P. Lewandowski 
Reverend Lewandowski was ordained to the priesthood in 1974 and served several local parishes and colleges before retiring in 2005. He is a licensed mental health counselor and has participated in numerous advisory and planning committees for a variety of civic organizations over the past twenty years. In 2001, he was awarded the Key to the City of Fitchburg. Reverend Lewandowski holds a Master of Divinity degree, two Master of Arts degrees in Counseling Psychology and Religious Studies, and a Bachelor of Arts degree.

James F. Connors 
Mr. Connors is a practicing attorney in the City of Fitchburg and adjunct professor at Mount Watchusett Community College. In 1989, Mr. Connors was awarded Lawyer of the Year from the Worcester Bar Association. He serves on numerous boards and committees, including the Massachusetts Alcohol Counsel and the Fitchburg School Committee. Mr. Connors holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Assumption College and a Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School.

David M. Felper 
Mr. Felper is currently a partner at Bowditch & Dewey specializing in labor and employment law. In this role, he counsels management on the design and implementation of various employee benefit plans and litigates numerous civil, administrative and arbitration cases. In addition, he has served on the boards of several local organizations, including the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce, United Way of Tri-County, Horace Mann Educational Associates and Valley Tech Educational Foundation. Mr. Felper holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from George Washington University and a Juris Doctor degree from Western New England College, School of Law.

Verilyn (Mike) Mitchell 
Ms. Mitchell is the Vice President for Real Estate Planning and Development at the MassDevelopment Finance Agency in Devens, Massachusetts. In this role, she is responsible for helping communities evaluate and develop real estate sites across Massachusetts by advancing smart growth economic development principles. Ms. Mitchell has a marketing and design background with twelve years of experience in real estate development.
